ICEL-2017 - 1st announcement
The International Conference on Extreme Light (ICEL-2017) Organizing Committee has the great pleasure of announcing the ICEL 2017 Conference, to be held in Szeged, Hungary from November 5th to November 9th 2017.
ICEL-2017 will be the second event of a regular series of conferences, which will bring together foremost scientists, researchers, and engineers from around the world, and highlight the most cutting-edge science, technology, instrumentation, and methodologies, as well as novel research and development directions that drive the rapid advances in the field of high-power laser-based science and applications, ranging from ultrafast dynamics to nuclear physics.
ELI, the first international laser research infrastructure, is now in the final stage of its implementation on three sites in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania, with the support of the ELI-Delivery Consortium (eli-laser.eu) in the transition towards the operation phase. ICEL 2017 is hosted by ELI Attosecond Light Pulse Source (ELI-ALPS), the Hungarian pillar of ELI based in Szeged, which will provide to the users community ultrashort light pulses at high repetition rate in the spectral range between THz and X-rays (www.eli-alps.hu).
